The Circus is in town!

Image
The Circus is in town! Leopards had a treat today, when a surprise pop up circus appeared.  They were alerted by loud music  coming from their classroom, but they weren't allowed in without a ticket.   Luckily, the friendly ringmaster had some free ones to give away.   Inside, there was an amazing show featuring acrobats, clowns, plate spinners and animals. A spectacular juggler put on a show and the children all got to perform an act too!   In the interval, there was delicious popcorn and hot chocolate. This was a one-day only event, h owever, as the circus disappeared in a hurry, they seem to have left a few items left behind. If you want to try your hand at juggling, then pop in soon. Amazing acrobatics Effortless plate spinning! Colourful clowns Leopards getting in on the act We were wowed by the juggling!

Gloves on our ‘helper hands’. Practising sawing, ensuring good communication and teamwork.  Success!

As the introduction to our topic children were asked to come to school dressed as people from the future. There was a great variety of outfits and we had lots of fun talking about them in class.
