Leopards@taddy

 Leopards have been working super hard on their times tables and today some of them were presented with certificates for their effort. We are going to continue to practice our times tables ready for an exciting and interesting competition coming up. We may be challenging you so get practicing!

  Yesterday afternoon we had our first formal debate in Topic and loved every minute of it. We had the statement: This house believes that Scientists were right to demote Pluto from planet status to dwarf planet status. We looked at the language and structure of a debate then did some research into the reasons behind the statement before finally having our debate which we all really enjoyed.  

I just wanted to say a huge well done to Leopards, who pulled together a great Harvest service in record time.  You're all wonderful! Mrs C

 Today a planetarium came in, it was so realistic ! Isaac W I learnt a lot about space today. Bea I really loved the planetarium it was so magical it made me cry. Florence I loved the planetarium it was so fun! Robert I loved the planetarium because it blew my socks off with everything I learnt. William I liked the planetarium so much because it was so fun to learn about all the planets. Sol The planetarium was amazing, there were lots of facts that I didn’t know about. Oscar It was so cool. Isabella I loved the planetarium because I loved seeing all the planets and I loved Saturn’s rings. Samuel When I went in it felt like I was actually in space. Elsie The planetarium was amazing!  This afternoon we have had lots of fun with magnets. We had to help some scientists who had accidentally mixed up their sand, spoons, paper clips and coins. We decided to try magnets to see if they would help us to collect the magnetic objects. We had a lot of fun playing with different magnets
