Where in the world has Taddington Bear been?

Image
This afternoon we heard a little about Taddington Bears latest adventures in Sri Lanka and got to try some genuine Ceylon Tea.  The tea was very popular and almost of the children wanted more, they are almost as bad as Miss B now!  Taddington showed them some photos of his adventures and the children scratched Sri Lanka off his travel map

Easter Service

Easter Service A huge well done to all of our children for taking part in our Easter church service. For lots of our younger children, it was the first church service that they've ever done in front of parents and families. And yet children from Reception to Year 6 all stood up and joined in - how fantastic! Well done to Giraffes class for leading the service. I'm sorry that I didn't manage to snap a photo of you but you did a great job.    A huge thank you to all who joined us. It feels fantastic to be able to gather together again.

Easter Orienteering

Easter Egg Orienteering What a wonderful community event this afternoon. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us. It was fantastic to see children and families entering so enthusiastically into the spirit of the afternoon.  Miss Furness organised a brilliant orienteering course which spanned the whole village, ensuring everyone racked up an excellent step-count.  I saw plenty of fantastic map-reading skills from the children and some of our younger children learnt how to read grid references for the first time.  Thank you so much to Mrs Fletcher and the PFA for providing an abundance of chocolate eggs as prizes once the children had pieced together the clues.  Thank you again to everyone who helped to make this a really special event.

What’s in the box?

Over the weekend there was a delivery at school for Leopards class. We didn’t order anything so we have no idea what it is but it seems to be some sort of animal. What do you think is in the box?
