Circus Time
On Monday, Leopards class delved into circus life in preparation for their new book, Leon and the Place Between. We transported our senses with the enticing smell and taste of popcorn and donuts and were enthralled by the incredible stunts we saw on screen. The children were overflowing with incredible vocabulary and we used that to help us come up with phrases to persuade people to come to our circus. We used these persuasive phrases whilst dresses as ringmasters and clowns then applied them in our poster writing. We also had chance to practice our own circus skills (although Mrs Beswick is considerably better than Mrs Chapman at juggling!)

Dear Mrs Williams,
ReplyDeleteI have done my maths and read theory this morning. We get up early every morning so we can get our work done and we can play all afternoon. We made a giant den from wood and slates. I am doing some dance videos.
I hope you are ok?
