Carmel, who is having computer trouble, hasn't been able to get onto the website, but she tells me on the blog that she is reading Matilda by Roald Dahl.

    Hello mrs William's, hope you are ok, matilda is one of my mummy's old books, my nannie has a whole cupboard of books and I'm going to get another one today, we did the pottery yesterday, we had to leave it to dry and now we are painting them, the pasta bolognese was really nice but mummy forgot to take pictures as she was hungry, if we have time today we are going to do tie dye.

      I can understand mum wanting to eat, not take pictures of the food!

    Today I have been doing art with mud. I have been on raz kids again- I listen to the story and answer the questions. I went on numbots I love this. I started a rainforest wordsearch. I made mars bar crispies yesterday- they have all gone!

      Great to hear you've been on RAZ kids and I see that you have earned lots of stars.
      NumBots is great fun too. Aren't we lucky to have so many fun ways to learn!

      Mars bar crispies sound YUMMY! I'm sure my girls would love to make some for me! Please can you send me the recipe?

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!

Tremendous Taddy Stars

  Our Tremendous Taddy Stars really were tremendous this afternoon. They've been working so hard over the past few months, practising their routine at every opportunity- playtimes, lunchtimes and after school and I couldn't be prouder of how well they performed together today. The girls were a fantastic team and gave it everything. Not only did they smash their routine but they were awarded the 'Sprit of the games' award for their support to the other competitors. It's been a fantastic afternoon and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A huge thank you to Rachel Limer for all the hard work that she's put in and to Joel for the fabulous team outfits- we looked fantastic!  P.s. I've tried to upload the video of the routine to the blog but it doesn't like it because it's too large!
