Marvellous Monday work


Hi Leopards,
Thankyou to Carmel for sending me a map of a real-life Island hopping tour,  sailing round Croatia. I wonder what sort of islands they are?  Maybe you could include one on your imaginary island hopping tour.

Super number work on CLIC sheets, which were sent in by Estella and Annie. Well done for your fantastic maths work.

Maya published her improved writing. Well done.
I LOVE the:
alliteration - deep, dark 
simile  - as quick as a flash
2 pairs sentence
adverbials - in the distance , soon after
subordinate clause - when

As well as some super fractions work and some beautiful handwriting, Annie has been busy painting her pebble for the Taddington snake. What a beautiful job you have done! It looks fabulous.
I wonder if you have painted one too?

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. Friday 1st May

Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
