Maths Week England Day 2

Today for Maths Week England we took part in an online escape room called The Bullion Heist. We had to solve lots of clues and learn lots of maths to solve it and recover the gold bullion which had been stolen by the Metza tribe.

 There were 5 missions to complete and some were really tricky. 

We managed to solve the escape room though with only a few questions that we couldn’t figure out straight away.

 As part of it we learnt about prime numbers, square numbers, factors and palindromes.

 What a busy morning!

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to.
