Sound investigations in science

Leopards were trying to find patterns between the pitch of a sound and features of the object that produced it. Using elastic bands, whirly tubes, glasses of water and a glockenspiel, they tried to change the pitch to make high pitched sounds and low pitched sounds.

The whirly tubes were very popular and everyone succeeded in making different sounds by changing the length of the tube.

We had to spin it quite fast, so it's difficult to see on the photos!
