Inuit inspired sculptures

The Leopards were so enthused this afternoon to learn about Inuit art culture.

We looked at different styles of art including printing and stone sculptures, then thought about the process of making our own sculptures using wood. The children started by drawing and cutting out an animal template in class. Next, we went up to the woods to saw and split the wood before drawing around the template on the wood. Some children also managed to start to whittled the outline of their animals.
