Portraits

 This week, the Leopards enjoyed looking at portraits of WW2 soldiers. 

The children developed their techniques, including their control and use of materials and how to use different types of shading to form detail.

Through close observation from the images provided  the children produced some incredible portraits that they are really proud of!

Last Forest schools of the year

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!
