Mini Project - Contrast and Complement

This week, Leopards have started their new mini topic Contrast and Complement. This project will teach the children colour theory by studying the colour wheel and colour mixing. Today we looked at primary, secondary, warm and cool colours. 

Using water colours, we had a go at mixing our primary colours to produce our secondary colours.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. Friday 1st May

Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
