Contrast and Complement 🎨


 As part of our mini project, we have been looking at colour theory. 

This week the children discussed contrasting colours (complementary colours). We also looked at analogous and tertiary colours. We explored the use of colour in more detail by looking closely at chosen artwork. 

We then identified, mixed and recorded the colours we could see.

Last Forest schools of the year

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!
