Magnetic Forces 🧲

In Science, we have been learning all about contact forces. Today we were introduced to a non-contact force called magnetism. 

We discussed and shared experiences and knowledge about magnetism including toys and household items we have at home. 

We explored different magnets so that we could ‘feel’ the invisible magnetic forces. 

And of course, to finish off the lesson, we played a game of magnetic darts 🎯

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings .
