The spread of a tsunami 🌊

On Tuesday afternoon, we explored the power of tsunamis and how they are caused. 

We recapped cardinal compass points using our atlases and discussed inter-cardinal points. Once we had discovered the names north-west, north-east, south-west and south-east, we pointed to the UK on our maps and found different countries that were located in each of these directions.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to.
