Cross Country 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This afternoon we were lucky enough to have some special visitors from High Peak School and Sport Partnership.

 They delivered the Leopards and Giraffes along with some children from Peak Dale with a cross country event. 

The children participated in cross country running along with other activities such as football skills and tri-golf. 

The children really did make it a great competition and encouraged eachother throughout the afternoon. 

Well done to those individuals who won themselves a medal! 🥇

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
