Science - all about roots 🌱🌷

This afternoon in Science, we were investigating the different types of roots. 

We looked at taproots and fibrous roots. We focussed on the structures and features. We compared and observed their features including the xylem using microscopes.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings .
