Mummification 🍅

Yesterday in English, we explored the process of mummification. The children worked together to organise their picture cards into the order they believed to be correct before we read how mummification actually worked. 

Once we knew the procedure, we had a go at mummifying a tomato using the steps they did in ancient Egypt 🍅

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
