Indus Valley - trading 🏜️

On Monday, year 3 and 4 took on the role of traders aiming to finish with the highest amount of goods. 

The goal of the task was to be the team that earns the highest amount.
Each team started with goods and coins.

The teams could earn by:
1. Charging a toll to enter their ‘city’ to trade.
2. Selling items for coins
3. Trading items for other items

By completing this task, the children were able to understand some of the notable achievements of the Indus Valley civilisation and discuss how they had a historical impact on the world we live in today.

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. Friday 1st May

Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
