Ancient Egyptian hierarchy 👑

This afternoon we explored the characteristic features of the Ancient Egyptian hierarchy.

The hierarchy consisted of a pharaoh st the top followed by the vizier, priests, scribes and soldiers, craftspeople and merchants, peasant farmers and slaves.

Each child was assigned a role from the hierarchy and a description of their responsibilities. After getting themselves in to the correct ranking, the children physically represented their position creating a freeze frame representing a typical scene from Ancient Egyptian life based on their roles.
