Statues, statuettes and figurines 🗿

This afternoon, we explored 3-dimensional art that uses the human art form. We looked at statues, statuettes and figurines in which the ancient Sumerians, Egyptians and Indus Valley all created informing us about the past. 

After having a go at sketching our chosen statues and statuettes, we had a go at creating a 3D model using tin foil, paying careful attention to detail of each figure. 

Using tinfoil certainly wasn’t as easy as it looked!

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
