Advent activities

 We made an Advent calendar to count down to Christmas. Every day, we read a bible verse, telling us a little bit more of the Christmas story. We get chocolate too!

 Working together, we had fun making our Advent wreath. 
We learned that Advent marks the Church’s new year.
As the first candle is for Hope,  we have been thinking about our hopes this Advent.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to.
