Hi Leopards, You will notice that the  learning plan looks a little different this week. As it is half term, I have put together lots of ideas for activities  - just click on the links for more information. As usual of course, I would be delighted to receive photos of you  - you can upload these to your folder or email them to me.   You can also post on the blog.  Maya has been busy in the kitchen again; this time she made  millionaire  shortbread.  This looks very professional Maya! Sneaky snake, model masterpiece and other news!

Hi Leopards, It was good to catch up with you today on the phone. Tommy's sneaky snake slipped out of its cage and caused a panic... Read on to find out if he was found!  Harriet has been doing lots of reading and writing stories while Leah is writing a book about being kind. Don't forget to send me your completed masterpieces. Still no sign of the snake... Ajax has been helping dad again with the patio and is enjoying the lovely sunshine. Annie baked scones and drew a lovely horse picture and is generally working her socks off! Keep up the amazing effort Annie.  No snakes here though. As promised, here is Jonny's amazing police station model masterpiece. You put a lot of thought and detail into this Jonny. No snakes here either! Alex has been riding his bike, going on lots of walks and has also been playing with Lego. Where could that snake be? Treasure hunting and gardening plus an amazing story!

Hi Leopards, It was lovely to catch up with Leopards today. Maya has been out with the metal detector again. Here she is searching for treasure. Carmel has been busy planting lots of seeds.  She is growing strawberries, carrots, beans and peas. They are coming along very well. We look forward to further updates as they grow, Carmel. I wonder how are your plants doing Annie, Ajax and Maya? Natalie has been working on editing and improving her writing over the past few weeks and has now published it.   WOW Natalie, you should be very proud of yourself. This is a great piece of writing with: 2A sentences, prepositions, fronted adverbials, subordinate clauses, BOYS sentences, alliteration and 2 pairs sentences. Super job!  Jonny has finished his magnificent police station Lego model and  Iyla told me about her fun time sleeping in a tent. Tuesday's teatime update

Hi Leopards, Carmel  has been busy with the frying pan again. This time, she has created these healthy, fruity pancakes. They look delicious!  RAZ kids stars of the day! Alex earned 210  , Annie earned 200, Estella earned 250,  Maya earned 60,  Natalie 50 and Tommy 20  Well done Leopards - you are super-charging your reading skills . TTRockstars Tommy , Annie , Carmel and Natalie all played 3 GARAGE games today - great work. NumBots- WOW! Tommy , Carmel ,  Maya ,  Estella , Jonny , Natalie , Annie  and   Leah all had a number workout today. Carmel , Maya and Estella have all completed MyMaths homeworks.  Well done! Happy Tuesday everyone and Happy Birthday Estella.  Your rosette cake - baked by you and mum - looks amazing.  I hope you have a lovely day.  Please l et us know how you celebrate. I was pleased to see Estell a , Annie and Leah   had sent their CLIC and Learn its sheets in yesterday - don't forget to send yours when you have completed them. Leah has been working on odd and even numbers with Odd Todd and Even Steven!  Annie sent me some grammar work in her neat handwriting - well done Annie. Well done to Alex , who   earned 450 stars on  RAZ Kids  yesterday.   Annie earned 200 and Carmel 370. Great work! Well done to  Carmel , Natalie and Annie for playing in GARAGE yesterday on  TTRockstars .  Carmel , Maya , Natalie , Jonny , Annie , Leah and Iyla have all moved up levels in NumBots. Good morning Leopards, I hope you had a good weekend and are ready for another week of home learning. I am very impressed with all the work you have been doing at home. Keep going...or as Dory says,"Just keep swimming!" On the timetable today   - our usual CLIC and Learn its . This week, they are on one sheet. Please send your completed sheet in, so I can see how you are doing. Good morning Leopards, It was lovely to chat to you all this week and find out what you have been doing in your spare time. Leah has been busy planting seeds and  Annie is still doing dance lessons on Zoom, Ajax has been riding his bike and Tommy has been researching rare rocks. Alex has been playing on his Xbox and    Jonny has been very busy making this shelter all on his own. It looks very impressive!  I wonder what you will do today ? Annie made bunting for V.E. day. Hi Leopards, I wonder how you are getting on with your Island study?  Estella decided to fly thousands of miles to Australia. Where did you choose to travel to?   Think about how you are going to present your findings. What will you choose to do? A) Poster  B) Leaflet with photos, maps and facts C) Use multimedia software - PowerPoint or  Photo Story with maps, photos and facts D.Write a short magazine feature with a snappy headline, an eye catching main photograph, subheadings and facts. Wednesday's update

Hi Leopards, It has been lovely to chat to some of you again today. I like to find out what you have been up to. As well as all the wonderful work you are doing, you have all been very busy.  Having a creative and magical time, Carmel has been making magic potions and looking for unicorns!  Iyla is enjoying playing with her puppy and  is loving RAZ Kids and the other online platforms.  Playing tennis with her family has been keeping Maya active - it certainly sounds very energetic! She has also been searching for treasure using a metal detector and she has already found an old coin! What will she find next? Hi Leopards, Lovely to have news of  Ajax's   9th birthday celebrations yesterday. Here he is opening his birthday post including letters from Aidan and Dylan. He also made a cake and learned to pipe icing. Great job Ajax! Tuesday 12th May

Hi Leopards, I was delighted that so many of you logged onto RAZ Kids    yesterday. Don't forget that you need to spend 20 minutes  reading books and doing quizzes to improve your reading. TTRockstars - Each GARAGE game only lasts 60 seconds, so in your 10 minute session , you can complete the 3 GARAGE games and then try out some of the other areas.  You might like to try ARENA, which is a bit like GARAGE with the tables set for you.  For more of a challenge , try   STUDIO or FESTIVAL with all tables to 12 x 12  or try  SOUNDCHECK  with 25 questions and 6 seconds per question.  In ROCK SLAM , with a ll tables to 12 x 12,  you can play a friend.  Who will you challenge to a game today? Hi Leopards, Great to hear from Natalie and Tommy today by email and Iyla, who   posted on the blog 3 times! Good to see lots of you have been on the online platforms today including 9 of you logging on RAZ Kids. Natalie celebrated V.E. Day by baking ginger snap biscuits and chocolate crispy cakes and then sitting outside playing board games together.
