Thursday's news
Hi Leopards,
π± I have had lots of lovely phone calls over the past couple of days. I love finding out what you have all been up to over the week.
Getting rather good at roller skating is Maya - I'd like to see you in action! Maybe a video, Mum? She has also been baking again - this time it was a cake π for her lucky cousin. Maya's garden sounds rather full with poppies, fern, roses πΉ, sweetcorn, peas, courgettes, strawberries π, tomatoes π , pumpkins and asparagus growing well and she's already started eating the peas. I know where to come when I run out of vegetables!
π Jonny is working really hard and is especially proud that he has levelled up on RAZ kids! Great work Jonny. He is flying through his fractions in maths, because he find them easy, which is great to hear. He is also working on a powerpoint about Volcanic Islands, which I look forward to seeing soon.
Alex has also been enjoying his fractions work and in his spare time, he has been trampolining and walking Ivy his pet dogπ.
Estella is working hard at everything and is finding fractions a breeze! There is a theme here! In her spare time she has been playing with Max, the cat and making cat toys for him out of string and treats.
Carmel make pancakes π₯ again, although she ate them before she could take a photo! Her plants are all growing well, but her lettuce and carrots π₯are doing best.
𧦠Annie is also zooming through her fractions work and she continues to work her socks off! She has been ringing friends, painting stones for Cedrick the snake, which is growing lomger by the day in front of the war memorial in Taddington. She tells me that the cake she baked the other day was a banana loaf. It looked delicious.
Ajax was very chatty about his mini Minecraft farm with an underground house, fences for animal, cows in a grassy area and chickens and pigs in a stony area. When he gets one seed, all the chickens follow. Unfortunately, he had too many eggs, so he baked loads of cakes! What a fabulous world you have made Ajax.
Leah has made a bed out of Lego - I'm not sure how comfortable that would be Leah! She has also been busy sewing a picture. This sounds impressive Leah and I look forward to seeing it when you have finished it.
Tommy has also been painting rocks for Cedrick the snake. He has also been working on his cooking skills and made some fried rice. It sounds really tasty Tommy.
Whizzing away online, these Leopards are powering up their reading and number skills.
Alex and Estella were reading on RAZ Kids today. I wonder what you are reading?
Estella, Natalie, Annie and Alex all played TTRockstars.
Estella, Annie and Leah played Numbots.
Fabulous work!
Keep up the great work,
Mrs Williams
