A trip to Taddington Tides



To begin our topic ‘Islands’, we took a trip to our very own island this afternoon - ‘Taddington Tides’
Whilst we were there, our ship sunk and we became shipwrecked! We had to fend for ourselves, discussing our survival techniques and resources! We even got to try some exotic fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, mango and coconut!

Last Forest schools of the year

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!
