The lion, the witch and the wardrobe 🦁🧙‍♀️

To begin our final half term, the Leopards started their new book, ‘The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe’. 

As the children entered the classroom this morning, they got to experience walking through our own version of a wardrobe emerging into the ‘other world’ where we used our imagination to picture the scene, snow falling onto the trees and covering the ground. 

We then started to read our new book which some children were already familiar with! They were super excited! 

We were introduced to the characters Lucy and Tumnus and created sentences about them using relative clauses to give more information about what we had learnt so far!
