Investigating Fatty Foods
Today in science we were investigating and comparing the fattiness of different foods.
We tested biscuits, crisps, cashew nuts, chocolate, crisp bread, crackers and rice cakes.
We predicted which we thought would be the most fatty and the least fatty and recorded our predictions. We then carried out out test by drawing 7 circles on our brown packing paper. We then crushed up our food into little piles and put them into each of the circles. We left the food for an hour and when we returned we found that some foods had produced more fat than others.
We compared the amount of fat produced from each and recorded our results.
