Presenting our volcano research 🌋

This week, the Leopards have been researching their chosen volcano. 

In groups they have worked together to find the location, height, status, type and any other interesting facts about their volcano. 

This afternoon, the children were given the opportunity to present their research to the class. All children took part speaking about their volcano and producing such beautiful canva presentations. Well done Leopards!

A taste of Narnia - our Turkish delight experience 🍬

This week in class, we had a magical and mouthwatering experience that brought our reading of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to life - quite literally!  As we journeyed through C.S. Lewis’s enchanted world of Narnia, we paused to try one of its most iconic (and tempting) treats: Turkish delight (covered in chocolate of course) For those who may not know, Turkish delight plays a rather infamous role in the story. When Edmund first meets the White Witch, she offers him a warm drink and a box of magically delicious Turkish delight - a gesture that begins his betrayal of his siblings. C.S. Lewis describes the treat in such an irresistible way that we were all curious: What exactly does Turkish delight taste like? So, we decided to find out for ourselves.
