Recycling in schools ♻️

Today, we had some special visitors from Derby Dales District Council to educate us on recycling. 

We discussed a range of waste and recycling services and why it is so important.  We discussed ways in which we can improve our own recycling rate throughout school. 

Following our discussions, the children got to experience controlling a recycling vehicle and see how it all works.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to.
