In Heartsmart, we have been exploring ‘Fake is a Mistake’

This morning we focussed on the circle of trust. 
We discussed appropriate and inappropriate touches and how they make us feel.  Some people like different touches and it is important that we acknowledge what we like and dislike. We acknowledged the people we would speak to if we ever felt unsafe or uncomfortable. 

We are the boss of our own body. ❤️

We watched the NSPCC clip - ‘Pants film’ to emphasise the importance of not letting anyone touch you inappropriately.

Last Forest schools of the year

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!
