Micro:bits

 Leopards looked at Micro:bits in our Computing lesson this week. They learnt that they are tiny computers and we need to input instructions to make them work, revisiting the vocabulary 'algorithm'.   The children set the mico-bits up then had a go at recording their voices and playing them back. We then logged onto laptops to introduce ourselves to the 'Make Code' program.

Last Forest schools of the year

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!
