The Leopards class discover some unusual items hidden around their classroom! 

Putting on their detective hats, the children made notes about what they found and using prepositions, explained where they found them. 

The children then went on to write their own news bulletin to alert the town and the rest of the school about their findings.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to. As usual, the lovely leopards have lots to tell me!  Marvellous music making  h as earned Estella the Blue Peter Music badge. Here she is, looking very happy with her achievement. Good Morning Leopards, I had a very busy day yesterday as it was my daughter's birthday. This lockdown makes every day seem the same, so we tried to make it as special as we could for her. Although she was missing her friends, she still had a lovely day. We went bowling (on the Wii), had a slap up meal in a posh burger restaurant (our kitchen) and had a cinema experience (film and popcorn). Life is a bit tricky at the moment, but we can still make some special memories. Here's a picture of her cake - it was yummy!
