Exploring traditional fairytales and myths 🧚🧌

Just before the Leopards are introduced to their new English book, we spent our morning exploring and discussing all the traditional tales we knew and myths that we had heard of. 

We discussed their features, similarities and differences and how every tale has a moral to the story.

 To finish the year, the children made bow and arrows, boats, dens, whittled sticks for part of their role play and made swings . I loved this session- the children came up with wonderful ideas, thinking about all the things they'd done over the year.  Thank you all for making our Forest schools sessions so special, I can't wait for next year with you all!

Hi Leopards, It was great to chat to some of you yesterday and find out what you have been up to.
